Privacy Policy

You must consider our privacy policy to know further information on what kind of details we collect, how they are utilized, and when they may be made public. Subject to our Privacy Policy, this Data Request Policy reveals the different kinds of data requests we receive and explains how we respond to such requests.

Different Types of Requests

We receive the following types of data request applications concerning customer data:

A data request is a request related to client accounts, often associated with official criminal probes and other legal activities. Except in limited emergency conditions, we require data requests to be made through a formal, verified Indian process. VNET TECHNOLOGIES responds to these requests in accordance with the law.

● Subpoenas

● Court Orders

● Search Warrants

● Legal procedures received from outside India may require a Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty (MLAT) with India.

● other forms of legal procedure such as Civil Investigative Demands

Preservation Requests: A preservation request inquires VNET TECHNOLOGIES to preserve customer account information in connection with official criminal investigations or other legal activities. Preservation requests must include the following information:

● Information based on Identity of the account(s) at issue (as further described in Section 4 below);

● Identification of the investigating firm and/or specific pending official proceedings (requests must be signed on law enforcement letterhead);

● Assurances that the requesting firm or individual person is taking steps to impose the right legal procedure to access the data that we are being asked to preserve; and

● An appropriate return email address and telephone number.

Emergency request - We will only accept emergency requests in cases that involve potential danger, harm, or death. Our team will respond in extremely urgent cases; however, we always prioritize good faith and maintaining strong relationships with our customers.

This Notice to Customers -

VNET TECHNOLOGIES terms and policy is to inform customers of requests for their data unless we are prohibited from doing so by statute or court order.OR email to billing@vnetindia.com

This information should include in the request which you will send us -

Full name of customer along with email address; and

Domain name and IP address included with the account.

Sometimes, our team is not able to respond with this information and VNET TECHNOLOGIES hold the right of request a copy of original complaint and related information.

DUE TO THE VAGARIES OF THE INTERNET AND EMAIL COMMUNICATION IN PARTICULAR, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE BURDENS OF SPAM AND THE OCCASIONAL UNINTENDED EFFECTS OF SPAM FILTERS, SENDING AN ALTERNATE FORM OF NOTICE, WILL HELP ASSURE THAT YOUR NOTICE IS RECEIVED BY US AND ACTED ON IN A TIMELY MANNER.

Fees

VNET TECHNOLOGIES might claim some charge in responding to unnecessary requests but it will be depend on condition or situation.R1Soft Backup cost we will give upon request.

Available Information

Depending on the different types of formal legal process provided, our team might respond to these following requests.

Non-Content -

Our team will produce non-content data like basic subscriber information which may contains the further subject to a verified request application:

● Name

● Email addresses

● Date and time of account creation

● billing information

● IP Logs

Content - We will only process client content (such as website files and email content) pursuant to a valid search warrant from an entity with proper jurisdiction.
